Summer vacation course: Build it smart – Teens Edition

Nature is an incredible architect! Its constructions are efficient, resource-saving, stable, and lightweight – and often also stunningly elegant.
Plenty of good reasons for us humans to peek over nature’s shoulder and learn from the best!
In this workshop, we’ll explore nature’s masterworks, uncover what makes them so ingenious, and build our own naturally brilliant creation.

When? Wednesday, August 27, 2025
Time? 13:00 – 14:30
For whom? Children aged 10–14
Where? Bionicum at the Nuremberg Zoo
Meeting point: In front of the zoo’s main entrance – we’ll pick you up there and bring you back afterward.

Info for parents:
We’ll be working with paper and glue, so please dress your child in clothes that can get a bit messy.
Parents are welcome to stay and watch – or take the chance to enjoy the surroundings on their own 🙂
